Supporting Student Wellbeing at King’s College London
This month, Mobile Massage Events had the pleasure of supporting King’s College London Students’ Union (KCLSU) during their annual Wellbeing Week — a programme designed to help students pause, recharge, and reconnect with their wellbeing during the busy academic term.
The KCLSU Wellbeing Week framework is built around the King’s 5 Ways to Wellbeing, adapted from NHS guidance and supported by the wider initiatives found on the KCLSU Wellbeing page.
One of the central themes is “Savour the Moment” — encouraging students to take small, meaningful breaks to relax and reset.
Our Role at the Event
MME therapist Nikki delivered a series of short, calming massage sessions throughout the day. These mini-treatments gave students a chance to step away from their studies, shake off tension, and enjoy a moment of genuine relaxation. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students commenting on how valuable it felt to take a mindful pause in the middle of a demanding schedule.
The massage sessions sat alongside a wider programme of activities, including creative Time Out Hubs, wellbeing workshops, craft sessions and community events — all designed to help students explore what supports their mental, physical and emotional health.

A Thoughtful Approach to Wellbeing
It’s always inspiring to work with organisations who invest in wellbeing in a meaningful way. KCLSU’s approach is student-centred, accessible, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Their Wellbeing Week creates an atmosphere where students can slow down, reflect, and genuinely look after themselves.
Looking Ahead
We’d like to extend a warm thank you to the team at KCLSU Wellbeing for inviting us to be part of such a thoughtful, supportive programme.
We look forward to supporting their future wellbeing initiatives across the academic year.
